Our first day

What a wonderful first day! Our 28 hours live brought us:

All these users were brought in from a post on reddit - thanks to user Resilience!

In the next coming days we are going to put up a few moch-ups of the new features we will be rolling out. We would like to get as many opinions as possible before we start building. Go go open source gadgets!

fuddit launch!

First off, we would like to thank the reddit team for going open source and making fuddit.com possible! We would also like to thank all of those who helped out in #reddit-dev. Being able to combine our two favorite online pastimes, social news and porn, is a beautiful thing.

Why a porn reddit clone? The nsfw subreddit is great, but we feel it can be improved upon if we can make it it's own entity and expand. Plans are already in the works for a bunch of new (non-obtrusive) features. We feel that previous "social" porn sites have gone in the wrong direction. We want to keep it on the reddit KISS track.

Although (most) basic functionality is working, we are still updating and tweaking the code, images, and styling. We still have a lot to learn. Please forgive us if you run into some errors and slowdowns.
